Eomoropus anarsius
Taxonomy
Eomoropus anarsius was named by Gazin (1956). Its type specimen is USNM 21097, a partial skull (Greater part of left side of skull and left ramus of mandible), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Dry Creek, which is in an Uintan terrestrial horizon in the Wagon Bed ("Tepee Trail") Formation of Wyoming.
It was recombined as Grangeria anarsius by Radinsky (1964), Black (1979), Lucas and Schoch (1989), Coombs (1998).
