Kinyang mabokoensis
Taxonomy
Kinyang mabokoensis was named by Brochu et al. (2022). Its type specimen is KNM-MB 29176, a skull (skull and jaws), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Maboko Main Locality, Maboko Island (Bed 3), which is in a Langhian wet floodplain claystone in the Maboko Formation of Kenya. It is the type species of Kinyang.
