Capromeryx mexicana
Taxonomy
Capromeryx mexicana was named by Furlong (1925). Its type specimen is UCMP 26648, a partial skeleton (skull and large part of skeleton of an adult individual), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is El Tajo UCMP V2501, which is in a Pleistocene fissure fill breccia in Mexico.
It was recombined as Breameryx mexicana by Furlong Eustace (1946).
