Bulla (Tornatina) infrequens was named by Adams (1852). It is extant.

It was recombined as Retusa (Acteocina) infrequens by Grant and IV and Gale (1931); it was recombined as Acteocina infrequens by Skoglund (2002), Hendy (2021).
