Baioconodon engdahli
Taxonomy
Ragnarok engdahli was named by Archibald (1982). Its type specimen is UCMP 116541, a tooth, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Hell's Hollow Channel, which is in a Puercan coarse channel fill sandstone in the Tullock Formation of Montana.
It was recombined as Baioconodon engdahli by Middleton (1983), Van Valen (1988), Fox (1989), Archibald and Lofgren (1990), Fox (1990), Hunter (1997), Eberle and Lillegraven (1998) and de Muizon and Cifelli (2000).
