Taxonomy
Berycopsis paucoradius was named by Dietze (2009). Its type specimen is GIM-8419, a skeleton, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Bauerschaft Bracht, near Sendenhorst, which is in a Campanian carbonate lime mudstone in the Ahlen Formation of Germany.
