Antarctiberyx seymouri
Discussion
This species differs from all other trachichthyids in the extreme development of the ornamented nasal bridge and in the pattern of radiating spines and serrations on the dorsal surface of the bridge.
Taxonomy
Antarctiberyx seymouri was named by Grande and Chatterjee (1987). It is not extant. Its type specimen is TTU P9210, a partial skull. It is the type species of Antarctiberyx.
