Sivaonyx beyi
Taxonomy
Sivaonyx beyi was named by Peigne et al. (2008). Its type specimen is TM 171-01-033, a partial skeleton (partial skeleton of one individual including: fragment of left edentulous hemimandible, fragment of right hemimandible with distal root of p3, p4 (broken) and d), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Toros-Menalla (TM 171), which is in a Miocene terrestrial horizon in Chad.
