Ankitokazocaris utatsuensis
Taxonomy
Kitakamicaris utatsuensis was named by Ehiro and Kato (2015). Its type specimen is IGPS 111448, a carapace, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Cape Tatezaki, Utatsu, Minamisanriku Town, Miyagi Prefecture, which is in a Spathian marine siliciclastic in the Osawa Formation of Japan.
It was recombined as Ankitokazocaris utatsuensis by Laville et al. (2021).
