Punatitan coughlini
Taxonomy
Punatitan coughlini was named by Hechenleitner et al. (2020). Its type specimen is CRILAR-Pv 614, a set of postcrania, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Quebrada de Santo Domingo (upper section: 170 m bed), which is in a Campanian/Maastrichtian lacustrine sandstone in the Ciénaga del Río Huaco Formation of Argentina. It is the type species of Punatitan.
