Niebla antiqua
Taxonomy
Niebla antiqua was named by Aranciaga Rolando et al. (2021). Its type specimen is MPCN-PV-796, a partial skeleton (Braincase, dentary, teeth, dorsal vertebrae, scapulocoracoid), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Niebla type locality, Arriagada Farm, which is in a Campanian/Maastrichtian fluvial sandstone/mudstone in the Allen Formation of Argentina. It is the type species of Niebla.
