Taxonomy
Wentzelophyllum gelikhanense was named by Minato and Kato (1965). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Geli Khana, Ora, above Michelinia Beds, which is in a Roadian shallow subtidal limestone in the Zinnar Formation of Iraq.
