Plicatula trailerensis
Taxonomy
Plicatula trailerensis was named by Squires and Saul (1998). Its type specimen is LACMIP 11280 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is LACMIP 10508, Trailer Canyon, which is in a Thanetian coastal siltstone in the Santa Susana Formation of California.
