Huinculsaurus montesi
Taxonomy
Huinculsaurus montesi was named by Baiano et al. (2020). Its type specimen is MCF-PVPH-36, a set of postcrania (an immature specimen that includes the articulated sequence of the last three dorsal vertebrae and the first two sacral vertebrae), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Aguada Grande, which is in a Cenomanian/Turonian terrestrial horizon in the Huincul Formation of Argentina.
