Taxonomy
Eiselia dyadica was named by Dietz (1911). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Dornaer Weg, Zone V, which is in a Wuchiapingian carbonate limestone in the Zechstein Formation of Germany. It is the type species of Eiselia.
