Stenomeryx bahinensis
Taxonomy
Stenomeryx bahinensis was named by Ducrocq et al. (2020). Its type specimen is MFP-PK2-2015-1, a mandible, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Pk2, Pondaung Sandstone, which is in a Bartonian terrestrial sandstone/siliciclastic in the Pondaung Formation of Myanmar. It is the type species of Stenomeryx.
