Taxonomy
Fusinus (Priscofusus) hannibali was named by Clark and Arnold (1923). Its type specimen is UCMP IP 30069 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Kirby Creek, east, which is in a Chattian marine sandstone in the Sooke Formation of Canada.
It was recombined as Priscofusus hannibali by Durham (1944).
