Aragochersis lignitesta
The specific name refers to lignite, because the type locality corresponds to a large mine of this variety of coal, located in an area with an important mining tradition, corresponding to the main economic activity especially from the early twentieth century; and also to the Latin term testa, in reference to the shell, an element that characterizes the turtles.
