Pectinodonta palaeoxylodia
Taxonomy
Pectinodonta palaeoxylodia was named by Lindberg and Hedegaard (1996). Its type specimen is USNM 488277, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Murdock Creek mouth, near, which is in a Rupelian/Chattian basinal (siliceous) mudstone in the Pysht Formation of Washington.
