Corbula wardii
Taxonomy
Corbula wardii was named by Hanna (1927). Its type specimen is UCMP 31146, a valve, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is UCR loc. 4922, which is in a Lutetian deep subtidal shelf shale in the Ardath Formation of California.
It was recombined as Aloidis wardii by Keen and Bentson (1943); it was recombined as Anapteris wardii by Givens (1994).
