Taxonomy
Chorrokhosauropus khakimovi was named by Dzhailov and Novikov (1993). It is considered to be a form taxon. It is a trace fossil. Its type locality is Babatag II tracksite, which is in an Albian peritidal limestone in the Luchak Formation of Tajikistan. It is the type species of Chorrokhosauropus.
