Taxonomy
Astarte obliqua was named by Deshayes (1830). It is not extant. It is the type species of Neocrassina, Crassinella.

It was recombined as Crassinella obliqua by Douville (1879); it was recombined as Neocrassina obliqua by Fischer (1887).
