Palaeophis longus

Taxonomy
Palaeophis longus was named by Owen (1849). It is not extant. Its type locality is Isle of Sheppey (BMNH collection), which is in a Ypresian marine claystone in the London Clay Formation of the United Kingdom.

It was considered a nomen dubium by Rage (1984).
