Cadurceryx was named by Hoffstetter and Rage (1972). It is not extant. Its type is Cadurceryx filholi.

It was assigned to Erycinae by Hoffstetter and Rage (1972), Hoffstetter and Rage (1972), Rage (1984); and to Boidae by Carroll (1988).
