Diagnosis

---|---|---|
A. Cobos et al. 2014 | Tracks relatively wide with weak mesaxony, and a wide, transverse, or poorly elongate, heel. Broad, slightly padded toes. These tracks show the following autapomorphies in relation to other large theropod tracks: 1) The anterior triangle subtended by the distal traces of digits II, III and IV is very obtuse, with a mean L/W ratio of about 0.3,2) The distal impressions of digits II and IV are almost equidistant from the perpendicular line that passes through the most proximal part of the ‘heel’ in respect to the main axis of the track, along the mid line of digit III, 3) Digit III proportionally long in relation to the total track length, and 4) The distal anterior half of the track shows some parallelism among its digits (which occurs at several points in the anterior half of the track) due to a very low interdigital angle of less than 20° and a length/width (FL/FW) ratio between 1.20 and 1.30. |
