Paracidaris wrightii
Taxonomy
Cidaris wrightii was named by Desor (1855). Its type specimen is BMNH E1877 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Crickley Hill (Wright collection), which is in a Murchisonae reef, buildup or bioherm limestone/marl in the Birdlip Limestone Formation of the United Kingdom.
It was recombined as Paracidaris wrightii by Smith (2015).
