Taxonomy
Selenocara rossica was named by Novikov (2016). It is not extant. Its type specimen is PIN 5496/6, a partial skull. Its type locality is Obshchii Syrt Highland, which is in an Induan terrestrial horizon in the Sukhorechka Formation of the Russian Federation.
