Kulgeriherpeton ultimus
Taxonomy
Kulgeriherpeton ultimus was named by Skutschas et al. (2018). Its type specimen is ZIN PH 3/246, a set of vertebrae (nearly complete atlas), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Teete (PIN Loc. 4874), which is in a Berriasian/Barremian lacustrine sandstone in the Batylykh Formation of the Russian Federation. It is the type species of Kulgeriherpeton.
