Grimmenichthys ansorgei
Taxonomy
Grimmenichthys ansorgei was named by Konwert and Hörnig (2018). Its type specimen is GG 439/1, a partial skeleton, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Grimmen clay pit (EMAU collection, exaratum subzone), which is in a Falciferum marine shale in Germany. It is the type species of Grimmenichthys.
