Rhinesuchoides capensis
Taxonomy
Rhinesuchus capensis was named by Haughton (1925). Its type specimen is SAM 7419, a skull, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Spitzkop, Graaff-Reinet, which is in a Wuchiapingian terrestrial siliciclastic in South Africa.
It was recombined as Rhinesuchoides capensis by Marsicano et al. (2017).
