Aranetsia improvisa
Taxonomy
Aranetsia improvisa was named by Novikov and Shishkin (1992). Its type specimen is PIN 4371/1, a partial skull, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Pechora Basin, Aranetsia, PIN 4371, which is in an Anisian terrestrial sandstone/conglomerate in the Krasnokamenskaya Formation of the Russian Federation. It is the type species of Aranetsia.
