Deltavjatia rossicus
Taxonomy
Anthodon rossicus was named by Hartmann-Weinberg (1937). Its type specimen is PIN 2212/2, a skull (without lower jaw), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Kotelnich, Vjatka River ("Sarmin" series), PIN 2212, which is in a Severodvinian terrestrial claystone/sandstone in the Urpalov Formation of the Russian Federation.
It was synonymized subjectively with Deltavjatia vjatkensis by Lee (1997), Lee (2000); it was recombined as Deltavjatia rossicus by Tsuji (2013).
