Protokionoceras fessicancellatum
Taxonomy
Protokionoceras fessicancellatum was named by Kobayashi et al. (1984) [Kobayashi in Kobayashi et al; questionably assigned to genus]. Its type specimen is KGS 3587, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is cephalopods unit, Gomi Quarry, which is in a Ludlow reef, buildup or bioherm reef rocks/shale in Japan.
