Aphanocyon codyensis
Taxonomy
Aphanocyon codyensis was named by Secord (2008). Its type specimen is UM 92145, an other (associated left and right maxillae + dentaries), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is MP-94, which is in a Paleocene fluvial horizon in Wyoming. It is the type species of Aphanocyon.
