Arctocyon nexus
Taxonomy
Anacodon nexus was named by Gazin (1956). Its type specimen is USNM 21282, a mandible, and it is not a trace fossil. Its type locality is Buckman Hollow, which is in a Clarkforkian terrestrial claystone in the Wasatch Formation of Wyoming.
It was recombined as Arctocyon nexus by Secord (2008).
