Palaeoryctes jepseni
Taxonomy
Palaeoryctes jepseni was named by Bloch et al. (2004). Its type specimen is UM 109156, a mandible (Right dentary with p3-m3), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Y2K Quarry, which is in a Tiffanian terrestrial siltstone in the Fort Union Formation of Wyoming.
