Artiodus prominens
Taxonomy
Artiodus prominens was named by Ivanov and Duffin (2017). Its type specimen is PM SPU 81-1, a tooth, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Krasnoufimskie Klyuchiki quarry (PM SPU collection), which is in an Artinskian carbonate marl in the Divya Formation of the Russian Federation. It is the type species of Artiodus.
