Galecyon gallus
Taxonomy
Galecyon gallus was named by Solé et al. (2013). Its type specimen is MNHN RI 275, a mandible, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Rians, which is in an Eocene terrestrial horizon in the Lignites de Soissonais Formation of France.
