Duerotherium sudrei
Taxonomy
Duerotherium sudrei was named by Cuesta and Badiola (2009). Its type specimen is STUS 11562, a maxilla (Fragment of the left maxilla, showing the P3-M3 series), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Mazaterón, which is in a Bartonian lacustrine marl/sandstone in the Mazaterón Formation of Spain. It is the type species of Duerotherium.
