Kazaklambia convincens

Reptilia - Hadrosauridae

Taxonomy
Procheneosaurus convincens was named by Rozhdestvensky (1968). Its type specimen is PIN 2230/1, a partial skull (virtually complete skull and skeleton of an immature individual lacking most of the preorbital region of the skull, distal parts of the forelimbs, distal left h), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Syuk-Syuk (PIN), which is in a Coniacian/Santonian deltaic conglomerate in the Dabrazhin Formation of Kazakhstan.

It was synonymized subjectively with Jaxartosaurus aralensis by Weishampel and Horner (1990), Horner et al. (2004); it was recombined as Kazaklambia convincens by Farke et al. (2013), Prieto-Márquez et al. (2016).
