Caestocorbula subtumida
Taxonomy
Corbula subtumida was named by Nagao (1928). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Coast at Akasemachi, which is in a Lutetian fluvial siltstone in the Akasaki Formation of Japan.
It was recombined as Caryocorbula (Anisocorbula) subtumida by Oyama (1960); it was recombined as Caestocorbula subtumida by Matsubara and Ugai (2006).
