Taxonomy
Proadusta camiadorum was named by Dolin and Lozouet (2004). Its type specimen is MNHN-IM-2000-3697, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Espibos, Gaas, which is in a Rupelian carbonate marl/sandstone in the Calcaire à Astéries Formation of France.

L. Dolin and P. Lozouet 2004La coquille, mince mais solide, de grande taille, est de forme lenticulaire, a bords subparalleles, a galbe surbaisse, a spire saillante. La sole ventrale est tres legerement convexe, ]' ouverture est sinueuse. I.: angulation est legerement abattue, I' aire columellaire a peine arrondie. Le canal siphonal, large et relativement profond, se situe dans le plan de la sole ventrale ; il forme un pontet court, tronque. Le pli terminal est simple, court et legerement plongeant, en position tangente ; il se prolonge sans solution de continuite par la lame interne courte et maigre, perlee. La fossula auriforme, relativement petite, est lisse et tres faiblement concave. La levre interne porte 21 denticules columellaires maigres, longs et disjoints, s' allongeant sur I' angulation abattue et la sole ventral e. Le canal exhalant, canalicu!e, est dejete adapicalement ; il forme un pontet calleux "en mufle", mal degage. La Ievre externe, a quart anterieur pince, porte 24( +3) denticules labraux longs et maigres, espaces.
