Taxonomy
Schloenbachia bertrandi was named by de Grossouvre (1894). Its type specimen is MNHN.F.R52614, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Ravin nord de Sougraigne, which is in a Santonian marine marl in France.
It was recombined as Pseudoschloenbachia (Pseudoschloenbachia) bertrandi by Kennedy (1995).
