Taxonomy
Bulimus conulus was named by Lamarck (1804). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Grignon (Lamarck collection), which is in a Lutetian open shallow subtidal sandstone/sandstone in France.
It was recombined as Hydrobia (Tournoueria) conulus by Pacaud and Le Renard (1995).
