Necrolestes mirabilis
Taxonomy
Necrolestes mirabilis was named by Goin et al. (2007). Its type specimen is MLP 92-X-10-14, a mandible (left mandibular fragment with erupting p?4 replacing dp?4, and the alveoli of the molars), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Gran Barranca - southern cliff of lake Colhué Huapí, which is in a Colhuehuapian terrestrial horizon in the Sarmiento Formation of Argentina.
