Sianodon gaowangouensis
Taxonomy
Sianodon gaowangouensis was named by Li (2003). Its type specimen is IVPP V13381, a partial skull, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Gaowangou (locality 64017), Niusimiao, Weinan, Shaanxi, which is in an Eocene/Oligocene terrestrial sandstone in the Bailuyuan Formation of China.
