Asagaolacerta tricuspidens
Taxonomy
Asagaolacerta tricuspidens was named by Evans and Matusmoto (2015). Its type specimen is SBEI 1566, a partial skeleton (An association of skull, jaws and postcranial bones of a small lizard with facetted tricuspid teeth), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Kaseki-kabe (facies III), Shiramine, which is in a Barremian mire/swamp mudstone/sandstone in the Kuwajima Formation of Japan. It is the type species of Asagaolacerta.
