Leptaena poulseni
Taxonomy
Leptaena poulseni was named by Kelly (1967) [= 1871 Strophomena rhomboidalis (Wilckens); Davidson, pl. 39, figs. 1, 10, 11, 15 only.]. Its type specimen is BU 889, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is 210 - 250 m SW of Caves Public House, west side of Wren's Nest Hill, Dudley, which is in a Homerian shallow subtidal limestone in the Much Wenlock Formation of the United Kingdom.
