Planktophaga minuta
Taxonomy
Planktophaga minuta was named by Böhme et al. (2013). Its type specimen is GPIT/OS/817, a tooth (isolated pharyngeal tooth), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Na Duong Mine level 11, which is in a Bartonian/Eocene lacustrine - large claystone in the Rhin Chua Formation of Vietnam. It is the type species of Planktophaga.
