---|---|---|
B. J. Filla and P. D. Redman 1994 | Closest to A. excelsus but differs in the retention of the following primitive characters: a greatly ex panded upper scapula blade, a scapula spine (deltoid ridge) that is perpendicular to the long axis of the scapula blade, a coracoid that is shallow and not enlarged ventrally, and a humerus with a very narrow shaft. An additional primitive character may be the retention of very long cervical ribs. |
